Ultra Heating Oil Plans

 Plan A Furnace Protection Plan

Comprehensive plan for oil–fired furnaces that provides annual maintenance; annual safety check; priority emergency service; free service for warrantied parts; and discount on non–warrantied work.

Priority Emergency Service
Free service for the replacement or repair of warrantied parts. Service for non–warrantied work will be billed at 20 percent off our standard flat rate.

Annual Preventive Maintenance - Heating
You can save money and burn less oil by having your heating system maintained by our experienced service technicians. We follow the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency so that your burner will operate at its highest possible efficiency. Based on an initial combustion efficiency test, we will perform 18 to 29 of these steps annually, as determined by our technician.

  1. Check With Customer About Heating System.
  2. Check Operation From Thermostat.
  3. Check And Clean The Heat Exchanger, Flue Piping And Base Of Chimney.
  4. Reseal Collector Flue Box, Chimney Base, And Cleanout Ports.
  5. Check And Replace The Nozzle, Oil Filter And Strainer If Necessary.
  6. Check And Clean The Nozzle Drawer Assembly, Burner Fan, And Blast Tube.
  7. Clear Oil Lines.
  8. Check Pump Operating Pressure, Pump Cut–Off, And Pump Vacuum.
  9. Check Safety Lockout Timing.
  10. Check OHMS Reading of Cad Cell.
  11. Check Transformer.
  12. If Hot Water, Check Aquastat Settings. Check High Limit By Adjusting It Until Unit Stops.
  13. If Hot Water, Check Boiler Pressure.
  14. If Hot Water, Check Expansion Tank.
  15. If Hot Water, Check To See That All Zones Deliver Heat On A Call From The Thermostat.
  16. If Hot Water, Check The Circulator, Circulator Couplings, Zone Valves And Bearing Brackets If Applicable.
  17. If Hot Water, Check For Water Leaks.
  18. If Steam, Check And Flush Low Water Cut-Off.
  19. If Steam, Check, Clean, And Replace Sight Glasses (If Necessary) In Low Water Cut–Off.

  24. Remove Old Parts And Debris From Furnace Area. (Ask Customer First.)
  25. Install New Furnace Sticker If Necessary.
  26. Shock Treat Oil Tank If Sludge Is Evident. If the Oil Tank Is In The Basement Or Garage, Check The Oil Tank's General Condition And Check For Leaks.
  27. Perform Instrumented Combustion Efficiency Test And Adjust Burner For Optimum Efficiency.
  28. Discuss With Customer Your Findings.
  29. Report Any Additional Work If Needed To Your Supervisor And Arrange, If Appropriate, With The Customer And The Service Coordinators A Time To Do The Work.

Provides priority service and air conditioning tune-up. Cooling service is discounted. 

Priority Service
Contract customers receive our top priority. Our normal work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday thru Friday. For calls received after these hours there will be a $99.95 trip fee. 


Our 11 Point Air Conditioning Tune-Up Includes:

  • COMPRESSOR - Unit will be checked for condition and operation.
  • CONDENSER COIL - Fins will be cleaned as required.
  • REFRIGERANT CHARGE - Will be checked for proper pressure and temperature.
  • AIR FILTER - When accessible, customer provided filter will be replaced/cleaned.
  • SERVICE VALVES - All exposed refrigerant lines will be checked for condition and leaks.
  • LUBRICATION - Motors and bearings will be lubricated.
  • THERMOSTAT - Will be checked and calibrated as required, when accessible.
  • CONTROLS & SAFETIES - Will be inspected and tested.
  • CONDENSATE DRAIN - Will be checked to ensure it is open.
  • UNIT DISCONNECT - Will be inspected.
  • EVAPORATOR COIL - Fins will be cleaned as required, where accessible.

  1. Check motor, compressor and fan for proper operation.
  2. Compressor will be ohmed out.
  3. Check for adequate refrigerant charge.
  4. Check and clean air filter.
  5. Check safety pressure controls.
  6. Check operation of thermostat.
  7. Check and lubricate fan motors.
  8. Check condensate drain.
  9. Check fuse/circuit breaker protection.
  10. Check refrigerant lines and service valves.
  11. Check and clean condensing fan coil.
  12. Check and clean the evaporator where accessible.

Cooling Parts Warranty

There is a $75 dollar allowance towards the repair and/or replacement of any part in your air conditioning system. Items excluded are compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cabinetry. In addition all work is further discounted 20 percent.

 Residential Gas, Electric or Oil Water Heater Protection Plan I

Provides priority service; annual preventive maintenance; and parts warranties.

Priority Service: Contract customers will receive priority over non-contract customers. There also is no trip charge during normal working hours. Normal working hours are 7am to 7pm Monday thru Friday. For service after normal working hours there will be $99.95 trip fee.

Annual Preventive Maintenance For Oil Systems, We Will Annually Do The Following:

  1. Perform a combustion efficiency test and clean if necessary.
  2. Check fuel filtration system and change filter, nozzle and strainer if necessary.
  3. Check safety lockout timing.
  4. Check transformer.
  5. Check water temperature.
  6. Check flue and chimney base.
  7. Drain sediment from tank to prevent scaling.
  8. Wipe down unit.
  9. Record results.
  10. Communicate to you our findings.

For Electric and Gas Systems, We Will Annually Do The Following:

  1. Check electrical connection.
  2. Check gas connection.
  3. Check thermostat.
  4. Check flue.
  5. Check thermocouple.
  6. Drain sediment.

  8. Communicate to you our findings.

For Water Storage Tanks With No Direct Firing, We Will Annually Do The Following:

  1. Drain sediment from tank.
  2. Check for leaks.
  3. Check water temperature.
  4. Wipe down unit.
  5. Put sticker on unit.
  6. Communicate to you our findings.

Provides priority emergency service; annual 21-Point Plumbing Inspection; discount on service work. 

Priority Emergency Service: Contract customers receive our top priority. Our normal work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday thru Friday. For calls received after these hours there will be a $99.95 trip fee.

Our 21-Point Plumbing Inspection Includes Checking The Following:

  1. Kitchen faucet free of leaks and in good condition.
  2. Kitchen traps free of rust, leaks and in good working condition.
  3. Kitchen sink, strainer in good condition and draining properly.
  4. Kitchen faucet supply lines and shut off valves free of rust and working properly.
  5. Garbage disposal in good working condition and shut off valves installed.
  6. Bathroom faucet free of leaks and in good condition.
  7. Bathroom traps free of rust, leaks and in good condition.
  8. Bathroom sink, pop-up in good condition and draining properly.
  9. Bathroom faucet supply lines and shut off valves free of rust and in good working condition.
  10. Toilet flushing properly and tank parts in good working condition.
  11. Toilet supply line and shut off valve free of rust and working properly.
  12. Tub/shower in good condition and draining properly.
  13. Tub/shower faucet free of leaks and in good working condition.
  14. Tub waste and overflow in working condition.

 Electrical Service Agreement Plan E

Provides priority emergency service, annual electrical inspection and discount on electrical service.

Priority Emergency Service: Our normal electrical hours are 7AM to 7PM Monday thru Friday. For customers with Electrical Service Agreements there is no Trip/Diagnostic Fee for calls during these hours. For after hour service the Trip Charge is $99.95

Our Electrical Inspection Includes The Following:

  • Home: Inspect to current code status.
  • Main Electrical Panel: Inspect and test all circuit breakers for proper operation. Re-torque all electrical connections. Identify and label each branch circuit. Perform current load test on each main feed line and balance load when required.
  • Lighting: Inspect and test all indoor and outdoor lighting for proper operation. Replace, free of charge, up to two standard incandescent lights (40, 60, or 100 watt), up to two four foot standard fluorescent light bulbs, and one standard floor or spot light (75, 100, or 150 watt).
  • Smoke Detectors: Inspect and test, replace up to two nine volt batteries, free of charge.
  • Timers & Dimmers: Inspect, test, and adjust.
  • Electronic Appliances: Inspect for surge and lightning protection.
  • Electric Receptacles: Inspect and test for proper polarity, opens, shorts and grounds.
  • Ground Fault Receptacles: Inspect and test safety shutdown operation.

Service parts and labor: All electrical service will be billed at 10 percent off our normal rates.
